  • You can check in from 3 pm and check out is 11 am. After you have checked out, you can still use the swimming pool, the showers and the sun terraces for the rest of the day.

House Keeping

  • The towels are changed 2 times a week and the bedsheets once a week.
  • There is also a coin operated washing machine ($ 5,30).

  • Use of our swimming pool with luxurious sunbeds and sun terraces.
  • Wi-Fi internet access.
  • From Monday to Saturday between 8am and 9am there is a “coffee-hour” with free coffee and tea at the main house terrace.
  • There is a library with books in various languages for free use or book exchange.

During the day, drinks are available at the main house.
On Monday evening you can join the BBQ night.

Not looking forward to go shopping after arriving from a long journey? We understand that you want to start en end your holiday relaxed. That’s why we offer our Hello/Goodbye Breakfast Deal: enjoy a lovely breakfast from our breakfast menu on the morning after arrival and the day of your departure. Only $ 30,- per person (2x breakfast). To guarantee fresh products, kindly always notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you want breakfast.

Please keep in mind: Taxis are quite expensive on Curaçao. Please inform us, on time about your flight details in advance.

Bus Stop

There is a bus stop in front of our door. However, since the buses aren’t always on time and don’t reach the destinations you want to go to, like nearby beaches, we strongly recommend to rent a car. The drive to downtown Willemstad is 20 minutes, airport 15 minutes, most beaches about 10 minutes and a large supermarket 15 minutes. You will find some very good restaurants and a cozy bar very nearby as well.

Accommodation Types & Detailed Features

All our accommodations are individually furnished and include bed linen, towels, and final cleaning in the nightly rate. Each unit has a private entrance, either from the garden or a shared terrace. The standard layout and features vary as follows:

  • Room with own bathroom – a compact double or twin room with en-suite shower, wardrobe, small desk, tea and coffee making facilities, and a private patio with two chairs.
  • Safari tent – a spacious canvas tent on a raised wooden deck, furnished with a double bed or two single beds, a small seating area, an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet, and a furnished veranda overlooking the gardens.
  • Studio – one open-plan room with a double bed or twin beds, a kitchenette with two-burner hob, microwave, fridge and basic cooking utensils, plus a dining table and a bathroom with shower.
  • Apartment – a separate bedroom with double bed or two singles, a living room with sofa bed for one extra person, a full kitchen with oven, hob, fridge-freezer and coffee machine, and a private bathroom.
  • Bungalow – a free-standing unit with one or two bedrooms, a living room with dining area, a full kitchen, a bathroom with shower, and a private terrace with outdoor furniture.
  • Comfort Bungalow (2 or 4 persons) – a larger, recently renovated bungalow with air conditioning in all rooms, a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, a separate lounge, private garden or deck, and a bathroom with rain shower.

Air conditioning, where available, is not included in the nightly rate. Electricity consumption for air conditioning is measured by a separate meter and charged at $0.99 per kWh. All other electricity use and water consumption are included. Weekly housekeeping with a linen change is provided for stays of seven nights or more; additional cleaning or towel changes can be arranged at reception for a small fee.

On-Site Facilities & Services

Guests have free access to the large outdoor swimming pool and the separate children’s paddling pool, both open daily from 9 am until sunset. Sun loungers and parasols are provided around the pool deck, and pool towels can be rented at reception for a refundable deposit. After check-out you are welcome to continue using the pool and the garden until 6 pm; luggage storage and a changing room with shower are available on your departure day.

The property also offers a covered BBQ area with gas grills and picnic tables, a children’s playground with swings and a sandpit, a small library with books and board games, and free Wi-Fi in all public areas and most accommodations. Parking is free on site and suitable for cars, motorbikes and bicycles.

  • Reception open daily from 8 am to 8 pm; outside these hours an emergency number is provided.
  • Laundry room with washing machines and dryers, coin operated, detergent available at reception.
  • Bicycle rental, including child seats and helmets, at $8 per bike per day.
  • Airport or ferry pick-up service on request for an additional fee.
  • Tour desk for booking excursions, boat trips, diving courses and car hire.

A small on-site restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a bar offers drinks, snacks and ice cream throughout the day. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated with prior notice.

Booking, Payment & Cancellation

Reservations can be made by email, telephone or through the online booking form on this website. A deposit of 30% of the total stay is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than four weeks before your arrival date. For bookings made less than four weeks before arrival, the full amount is due immediately.

We accept payment by bank transfer in US Dollars or Euros at the exchange rate of the day, and by Visa or Mastercard. Please note that credit card payments may incur a small processing fee. Cash payments in US Dollars or the local currency are accepted on arrival for the remaining balance only.

  • Free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival – full refund of any payments made.
  • Cancellation between 30 and 14 days before arrival – deposit is non-refundable.
  • Cancellation less than 14 days before arrival, or no-show – the full booking amount will be charged.
  • Minimum stay: high season 3 nights, mid and low season 2 nights.

We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations. Changes to your booking dates are possible free of charge up to 30 days before arrival, subject to availability. If you need to shorten your stay after arrival, the unused nights will be charged as booked.

Getting Here & Exploring the Area

The property is located on a quiet lane approximately 2 km from the nearest village and 4 km from the coast. The nearest international airport is about a 45-minute drive away, and a local ferry terminal is 10 km from the property. A detailed route description with GPS coordinates will be sent with your booking confirmation.

If you do not have your own transport, a public bus stops at the end of the lane four times a day and connects to the main town and beach. Taxis are available by phone and cost around $12 to the beach. Car, scooter and bicycle rental can be arranged at reception, and secure bicycle parking is available on site.

During the high season from mid-December to mid-April, the weather is dry and sunny, ideal for swimming, snorkelling and boat excursions. The mid-season months of April to June and September to mid-December are quieter and slightly cooler, perfect for hiking, birdwatching and visiting local markets. The low season from mid-June to the end of August brings occasional afternoon showers, lush green landscapes and the lowest nightly rates; many restaurants in the area remain open, but it is wise to book excursions a day in advance.
